Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011)

Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) – This movie was funny. Everything that happens to go bad ends up bad. I like this story because everything goes wrong and that is the way it should be. For example, if married partners are having affairs and then they decided to devoice, they shouldn’t end up married with another person. This movie does a pretty good job reflecting the problems of modern families.

I couldn’t tell that the divorce couple wanted to get back together again because they love each other, but they laugh a little at their pain because they really hurt each other. I think its good seeing them swallow their regret in the end.

This movie uses strong sexual language throughout the movie, which I do not think it appropriate for children or young teens.

Captain America: The first avenger (2011)

Captain America: The first avenger (2011) – was a good movie. I don’t remember any bad scenes that really scream out at me.

What I like about this movie? This movie made me feel good about America and being an American. I think we should have more movies like this that make us feel proud of America instead of how bad and corrupt America is. Maybe more movies like this will cause the little guy to stand up against the big bullies.

“To the little guys, you can fight for justice.”

Cowboys & Aliens (2011)

Cowboys & Aliens (2011) –

This movie was good. I like the main actor in this movie. I can never remember his name, Daniel Craig. The movie did a very good job mixing old western styles with new advanced technologies.

What I didn’t like was the flashbacks the cowboy had of his lost wife. It indirectly made me think she was being humped or raped. As the cowboy remembers more the flashbacks during the movie, the worst the memory became and the more awkward and disturbed I felt. I didn’t like this part.

But the aliens in the movie look so real and disgusting.

Conan the Barbarian (2011)

Conan the Barbarian (2011) –

This was a good movie. The only part I don’t like was the intro of the movie. If you just cut out that part this movie would be just fine.

The reason the intro should be cut out is because its shows this pregnant lady dying in the battlefield and she says “I wants to see my baby before I die.” So, this guy basically cuts her open and pulls out the baby and he says “what do you want to name it?” and that is when she says “Conan.”

I think that was gross.

Final Destination 5 (2011)

Fina Destination 5 (2011) – I thought this movie was going to be scary, but it’s not the kind of scary movie I thought it would be. This actually shows blood everywhere, the director doesn’t even turn the camera away when someone gets their head chop off, or their eyes popped out, or bones sticking out of the body.

Everyone in this movie dies and you get to watch how each person dies, no one is spared. I was sick at watching this movie. I would describe this movie as “extreme anxiety” because you are agonizingly sitting there watching dangerous situations unfold so slowly to a climax and die.

This movie sucks.

Super 8 (2011)

Super 8 (2011) – was kind of weird. It wasn’t bloody scary but it was scary in a way. When I was watching, I just couldn’t figure out what the hidden creature was or when it would jump out at you.

The movie had an old 1980’s look. In the movie, I noticed NO one had a cellphone.  I cannot image how people lived without cellphones.  But maybe it was probably better that way.
